With just under 10,000 dogs registered on the Eastern Shore, Clarence residents love their dogs and this event will feature all sorts of fun dog activities.
There will be a dog agility course to try, a dress up competition, along with the new exercise regime for canines and their human friends, ‘doga’ a take on yoga. An array of services and dog friendly products will be available, as well as a barbecue and entertainment from the Bootleg Gin Sluggers.
For those wanting to add to their family, a collection of pups and older dogs will be looking for their forever home.
Dog’s Day Out wouldn’t be complete without the ever-popular Poochibald Prize on show at the Schoolhouse Gallery.
The Poochibald Art Prize celebrates our canine companions with an exhibition of dog portraits by local artists in the field of painting, drawing and print. Winners in both adult and junior sections will be announced on the day.
Dog’s Day Out will be held Sunday 1 October from 11am-3pm at Rosny Farm. Entry is free.
