Live Clarence is a health and wellbeing website, supported by social media and other materials to get people healthy, active and involved in the City of Clarence. The website, www.liveclarence.com.au is a vibrant hub of health and wellbeing information, services and resources found in and around the city. It gives not-for-profit community groups and organisations the opportunity to promote events and activities on the website for free.

aWake Before Death is a film that features community members of all ages having meaningful conversations about death, grief and end-of-life planning. The project aims to inspire others to discuss this rarely talked about, but important issue. The film is supported by a website, www.awakebeforedeath.org.au, and a suite of free and flexible educational and training resources that are being disseminated locally, Australia-wide and globally.

aWake Before Death is collaborative community partnership between the Council’s Positive Ageing Network and Advisory Committee, the Warrane Mornington Neighbourhood Centre, Fairway Rise Retirement Living Village, Salmutations Music Therapy, Doublsee Media, Community Conversations and the MOFO Festival. It is funded by the Better Access to Palliative Care Program (through the Tasmanian Association of Hospice and Palliative Care Inc) and Council.

Voting closes at midnight on 30 September 2016 with winners announced on 27 October.
