Clarence City Council’s Positive Ageing Advisory Committee (CPAAC) was established in 2007.

The aim of the committee is to implement council’s Age Friendly Clarence Plan 2018-2022.

Clarence City Council is proud to be the first Tasmanian council to join the World Health Organisation (WHO) Global Network of Age Friendly Cities and Communities. Council is committed to creating a environment for people which is respectful, meaningful and focuses on the benefits for everyone in the community.

The Clarence Positive Ageing Advisory Committee (CPAAC) are recruiting for new community members to join the committee.

People of all ages that support an age friendly community are encouraged to nominate. Preference given to those who are residents of Clarence.

Committee meetings are held 6 times per year and members plan and participate in activities held at various times outside the meetings.
