Today, Alderman Doug Chipman, Mayor of Clarence City Council, launched a community engagement project as part of its COVID-19 Community and Cultural Development Support Plan.

The Clarence, Keep Connected project will help council to deliver meaningful, tailored services and support to the community through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Alderman Heather Chong, Deputy Mayor said we want to develop a meaningful, targeted plan based on identified community need to help our community through this challenging and unprecedented time.

“We want to establish what the immediate needs of our community are and how we can best meet them in a timely and efficient manner, and how to assist with community recovery in the future”, Deputy Mayor Chong said.

The survey is up on Clarence City Council’s online engagement platform, Your Say Clarence, and community members can also call on a dedicated line to 6217 9740.

Clarence City Council is using a range of methods to connect and is encouraging all residents of Clarence to register Your Say Clarence, at www.yoursay.ccc.tas.gov.au or phone 6217 9740 to share feedback and ideas.
