Children leading the charge to choose water
This Tuesday 23 October, the winners and special mentions of the ‘Choose Water’ promotion competition will be announced.
The competition asked entrants to design a poster or postcard to encourage people to ‘choose water’ as their main drink for better health outcomes.
Clarence City Council received many creative and exciting entries from several primary schools and early childhood learning centres. From the entries, winners will be announced with all artworks on display at Rosny Library.
Council has been working in close partnership with the Tasmanian Health Service, Oral Health Services and Health Promotion, along with Population Health Services and Move Well Eat Well on a number of projects to improve oral health in the city.
More information on the project, as well as other health-related projects, can be found at www.liveclarence.com.au.
