Clarence City Council has launched the My Wellbeing Kit App to help users keep their wellbeing on track.
The My Wellbeing Kit app is an award winning and innovative project adapted from the successful card version launched two years ago.
Like the card version, the app features a series of beautiful images that are matched with different ways to keep your health and wellbeing on track when times are tough.
Users can make the app their own by using the in-built journal system to record thoughts, feelings and what has worked, adding in images of things that make you feel healthy and well, as well as helpful contacts and supports.
The app has been developed in partnership with the University of Tasmania with students from Information Technology building the app.
“The My Wellbeing Kit is an example of what councils can do to help residents improve their health and wellbeing,” Deputy-Mayor, Alderman Heather Chong said.
“We have taken the My Wellbeing Kit to the next level by creating an innovative app that can be customised to users and give them the capacity to note down what works for them to maintain good mental health.”
The My Wellbeing Kit App is available for Android devices.
