Rosny Child Care Centre
Council sponsors the Rosny Child Care Centre at Montagu Bay.
The aim of the centre is to promote the best in quality care; to provide a stimulating environment which will cater for the social, emotional and physical needs of individual children in the centre; to provide a warm and friendly environment where a child will feel secure; and to cater for the individual needs of children.
Located in Loinah Road, Montagu Bay, the centre is licensed to care for 38 children aged from 8 months to five years.
The centre is open from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm and offers weekly, daily and sessional care, and casual care at an hourly rate, vacancies permitting. with trained, professional and experienced staff offering consistent high-quality care.

Family Day Care
Council sponsors one of the largest Family Day Care schemes in Tasmania, which is funded by the Commonwealth Government.
Registered carers provide quality care for children in a warm and friendly home environment.
The scheme aims to meet the diverse needs of the whole community, offering full-time, part-time and casual care, for either work related or respite care.
Families may be eligible for Childcare Benefit, which assists with the cost of their childcare.
The Family Day Care office is located at 19 Alma Street, Bellerive.

School Holiday programme
A programme is conducted during each school holiday period. For details of venues, times, costs and conditions contact the School Holiday Programme Coordinator.

Safety House Programme
The Safety House Programme is designed to provide protection for your children on their way to and from school.
Safety Houses are established so children can seek refuge or help should the need arise.
A number of these programmes have been established in the City through local parent committees in association with schools.
