After consideration of public comments, Council adopted the Positive Ageing Plan 2007-2011 on 23 April 2007.

The Positive Ageing Plan will provide strategic direction for Council to meet the needs of its older residents, its overall objective being to facilitate sustainable actions to meet the community's needs over the next 5 years.
