The Youth Network Advisory Group (YNAG)
YNAG was established during National Youth Week in 2000.
YNAG's role is to advise Council on youth issues, and to work collaboratively with schools, police, businesses, service providers, community groups and other youth groups.
YNAG consists of 10-20 young people, or YNAG representatives, from Clarence schools and the wider community. The representatives identify key issues affecting youth today, and raise awareness of these issues by conducting events and other projects that focus on the identified issues.
Since YNAG's inception in 2000, YNAG representatives have gained valuable skills in communicating, public speaking, running events and working together to resolve issues affecting youth today.
YNAG is supported by the Clarence City Council Youth Services Team. For more information about YNAG, please contact the Clarence Plains Youth Centre on 6247 1230.
