Septic Tanks and Onsite Waste Water Management

You need a permit to install or alter a septic or other tank or on-site waste water management system.

It is necessary to de-sludge septic tanks every 3 years and to carry out maintenance work on absorption drains. Septic tanks can only be de-sludged by approved contractors.
