Council to provide extra meningococcal vaccination clinic

Clarence City Council will provide a further meningococcal vaccination clinic on Tuesday 14 August 2018 from 10am – 3pm at the Clarence Integrated Care Centre at Rosny Park.

The immunisation clinic is for Meningococcal strains A, C, W and Y (one vaccine). People who are aged between six weeks and 20 years (born after 1 August 1997) who haven’t had the vaccine are eligible.   

The vaccine is free for this age group on presentation of a Medicare card.

Bookings for the clinic are required and can be made by phoning council on 6217 9500 during business hours.

People outside of the specific age range, and those wanting the Meningococcal B vaccine, need to contact their GP.
