Silver screen favourites at Gold Grass location

This summer, a selection of classic, favourite films return to the beautifully manicured lawns of the Rosny Farm with a big screen and amazing sound.

With timeless stories that pull the nostalgia strings and perfect for people with children, Gold Grass Cinema turns watching a movie into an adventure.

Kicking off on 12 and 13 January are two family favourites, The Princess Bride and The Goonies.

Following up is a more adult offering on 16 February- Girl, Interrupted - the breakout for Angelina Jolie and Winona Ryder, is a true story about coming of age in a mental institution for young women.

Finally on 17 February, Gold Grass Cinema features The Cabin in the Woods, a conceptually brilliant horror film that redefines the genre.

“Gold Grass Cinema is a fantastic inclusion in our Summer Series program,” said Mayor of Clarence, Alderman Doug Chipman.

“It allows us to showcase one of our finest assets, the Rosny Farm, and to offer a program of movies we forgot we loved.”

All Gold Grass Cinema screenings have a fully licensed bar with popcorn and snacks as well as hot chocolate, coffees and dessert.
