From dancing to massages - Living Well in Clarence

There was something for everyone at the fifth Living Well in Clarence Expo with free massages, a chill out zone for young people, performances, entertainment, giveaways, seedlings, a healthy barbecue and an array of local health and wellbeing resources on hand.

Mayor of the City of Clarence, Alderman Doug Chipman said the event was a great success with around 1,000 people attending.

“Living Well in Clarence aims to raise awareness and promote aspects of good health and wellness for all ages and abilities. It also gives key services and groups the opportunity to come together, network and promote what they do,” Mayor Chipman said.

“The expo was an ideal opportunity to launch a new health and wellbeing website, Live Clarence with much fanfare by a flash mob of dancers. We want this dynamic website to be the go-to place for information, resources, events and activities to help residents get healthy, active and involved in our community.”

“I thank the organisers, the services and groups and our wonderful MC Jane Longhurst for delivering a very successful event.”
