Living Well in Clarence

All things fun and healthy for residents of all ages will be on offer at the fifth Living Well in Clarence event to be held on Saturday 7 November at Rosny LINC.

The event focuses on the many ways we can live well, including physical and mental health, food and nutrition, exercise, relaxation and the resources and services available for these in our community.

More than 40 groups and service providers will be at the event providing plenty of information including Lifeline, Youth Beat, Speak Up and Stay ChatTY, Men’s Shed, Knitters and Chatters, to name a few.

There will also be health checks, a chill out zone, games, reflexology, activities, informative talks, music, entertainment as well as giveaways, yummy treats and a free barbecue. The event will be hosted by local actor and radio presenter, Jane Longhurst.

The event will coincide with the launch of Live Clarence – a new website that promotes health and wellbeing in our city. Live Clarence will be a vibrant hub of information, resources, events and activities to help residents get healthy, active and involved in and around the city.

Living Well in Clarence will be held Saturday 7 November from 9.30am to 12.30pm at Rosny LINC. For more information, contact Clarence City Council on 6245 8664/6217 9597 or visit the website
