Clarence Planning Scheme 2007
The Clarence Planning Scheme 2007 came into operation on 2 April 2008. The Planning Scheme identifies planning policies and controls affecting the use, development and subdivision of all land within Clarence. Assessment of applications under this scheme is governed by the Land Use Planning and Approvals Act 1993.
The Clarence Planning Scheme 2007 comprises of the Ordinance and Plans which designate the areas subject to the various zones and overlays.
NOTE: The copy of the Clarence Planning Scheme 2007 available as a download below is a consolidated version of the originally aproved scheme and subsequent amendments to it. Accordingly it is not the official copy approved by the Tasmanian Planning Commission.
Hard copies of the Clarence Planning Scheme 2007 are available at the Council offices in accordance with Council's Fee schedule.

Superseded Planning Schemes
The Clarence Planning Scheme 2007 replaces three former Planning Schemes - Eastern Shore Planning Scheme 1963, Eastern Shore (Area 2) Planning Scheme 1986 and Richmond Planning Scheme 1993.
