The Clarence Prize for Excellence in Furniture Design 2013

Clarence City Council launched the biennial Clarence Prize for Excellence in Furniture Design in 2007. The biennial prize seeks to encourage excellence in art and design practice, while enhancing the City of Clarence's art collection with significant works.
The Clarence Prize has found its niche within Australia's art community as a prize that celebrates accessible furniture art and is open to furniture designers operating within Australia.
The Prize contributes to Tasmania's reputation as a leading cultural hub, brimming with vibrant arts experiences.
- $14,000 - Acquisitive Prize.
- $1,000 - Highly Commended Prize.
- $1,000 - Emerging Artist Prize.
