Green organics collection service

A kerbside collection service for green organic material is provided every four weeks.

Collection runs begin at 6.00 am on designated garbage collection days.

IMPORTANT: Collection takes place on different dates in 2 different areas. Each household receives a brochure annually,which explains the collection service for your area. If you misplace your brochure, please contact the Council for another brochure. Do not borrow a friend's brochure as the dates vary from area to area.

The service collects tree branches and prunings with branches less than 1500mm in length with a maximum diameter of 200mm.

Items must be tied in bundles.

Grass clippings and weeds should be placed out in an open rigid container.
