Clarence Jazz Festival
Held in beautiful outdoor, riverside and historic locations, the Clarence Jazz Festival is one of Tasmania's most popular music events. Audiences love the great performances, unique locations and unrivalled good vibes.
Sparking off with a set of free park concerts, this year Clarence Jazz will be appearing first on Sunday at the Richmond Village Green, Monday at Clifton Beach Reserve and Tuesday at Beltana Park in Lindisfarne.
After touring around these gorgeous water front parks, the Clarence Jazz Twilight Concerts set camp on the manicured lawns of the Rosny Farm for balmy early evening swing with a fully licensed bar and a selection of succulent toasted panini.
For lingerers and those who like their jazz after dark, The Barn at Rosny Farm opens its doors as the Jazz Lounge. With more experimental, virtuosic performances and that small club energy, it’s the place to kick on and enjoy some fine Tasmanian wine.
All concerts on the lawns and in the Jazz Lounge at The Barn are free excepting our special guest artist.
Introducing the Festival Special Guest, Michelle Nicholle
With a host of accolades including the prestigious National Jazz Award, three time Mo Jazz Vocalist of the Year, and twice ARIA award finalist, Michelle is a jewel in the heart of Australian jazz.
Bringing three of her closest musical partners, Michelle will share a selection of work spanning her six albums and some new tunes as well on Friday and Saturday night in the Jazz Lounge.
