Clarence Carols by Candlelight

Clarence Carols by Candlelight

Clarence Carols by Candlelight is Tasmania’s most unique waterfront Christmas celebration.

The Eastern Shore’s biggest Christmas event has swung around again with a wonderful feast of song and celebration.

MCs Andrew Colrain and Colin Dean will lead the crowd through a choice selection of carols punctuated with pieces from choirs Men in Black, Lincoln Singers and Vivace: Young Voices Together.

Of note in this year’s program is young soprano Isobel Latimer. The recent winner of eight Eisteddfod First Prizes and the Celeste Thomsen (Quinn) Memorial Award for exceptional standard, she will charm the crowd with her pure voice as she sings O Holy Night.

Santa loves his Bellerive appearance and chooses to arrive by water sleigh, where he is always warmly welcomed by the audience for handshakes and Christmas wishes.

With food, ice-creams and drinks available as well as glow candles from the Clarence Lions Club, it’s a joyful evening for the whole family.

When: Sunday 8 December, 7.30pm to 9.45pm

Where: Bellerive Boardwalk
